The magical island of Ibiza truly did not disappoint during the Avanza Workshop. Known for its golden sunsets, crystal-clear waters and effortless Mediterranean beauty, Ibiza offers one of the most breathtaking backdrops for a wedding video.

This editorial shoot brought together an incredible team of creatives, each passionate about crafting something timeless and elegant. From the soft coastal breeze to the warm evening glow, every moment felt cinematic — exactly why Ibiza has been at the top of my wishlist for filming a destination wedding.

As a wedding videographer, light is everything and Ibiza delivers some of the most romantic light in Europe. The island’s famous sunset tones create a dreamy, golden atmosphere that feels almost unreal on camera. Whether you’re exchanging vows overlooking the sea or celebrating in a rustic finca, the scenery adds depth, texture and emotion to your film.

The Avanza Workshop Experience

The Avanza Workshop was a beautiful opportunity to collaborate, experiment creatively and connect with like-minded wedding professionals. Vanessa and Richardo brought such natural chemistry to the shoot, making every frame feel authentic and emotional.

Editorial shoots like this allow me to explore storytelling in new ways — capturing movement, intimacy and atmosphere in a way that feels organic rather than staged. It reaffirmed why filming weddings in Ibiza feels so special: the island itself becomes part of the love story.

Daisy and Majid had the most epic wedding weekend at the beautiful boutique hotel Casa La Siesta in Vejer De La Fontera, Spain and it was an absolute honour to capture all the fun celebrations. I flew into Gibraltar airport late on Friday, and one hour later the best man George and I were dropped off in the lively town of Vejer, where Daisy and Majid were having their welcome drinks.

The next day I arrived at Casa La Siesta, Majid and his 12 groomsmen relaxing by the pool. Daisy and her girls were getting ready. Their friends were rehearsing their songs in the courtyard and the sun was shining. The fun and energetic vibes continued throughout the day and night with beautiful readings, speeches and performances - including an emotion rendition of “God Only Knows” when Daisy walked down the aisle. The singing continued with a flash mob of “Lovely Day” from their talented guests inlcuding Pixie Lott and Rachel Adedeji to name just a few. Later on, a crowd pleasing “Greatest Showman” performance by their talented friend Andy, who definitely got the guests dancing and on their feet.

Daisy and Majid's romance and lust for life is truly inspiring. They met whilst working together on the TV show Hollyoaks and it was a joy to capture their wedding celebrations in June.

Thank you Daisy and Maj for your kindness and positive energy. This was a highlight that I'll never forget, thank you for trusting me with your special day.
