Modern Asian wedding inspiration, Core Clapton London

At the beginning of the year Heather asked if I wanted to collaborate on a Modern Asian wedding shoot in London. I was so excited to plan this shoot together and was very passionate about representing Asian culture and faces in the wedding industry as well as work with other Asian wedding suppliers. We wanted to showcase an Asian wedding in a contemporary way to inspire couples to firstly feel seen as well as create a stylish and special shoot to inspire couples planning their own fusion wedding!

Our modern Asian wedding shoot brings a sophisticated, fresh and updated approach on traditional elements you would expect from a Chinese or Vietnamese wedding. Martha from Anemone helped us style our shoot, we use peach, mauve and pinks instead of the traditional red for a modern and romantic look, we also used gold for a luxurious and 'lucky' feel and this is woven in the stationery from Jo Studio Design, embroidery from Tabitha Textiles, cake from Amalina Bakes and contemporary furnishings.

We created and styled the Chinese tea ceremony set up using the traditional components such as the 2 chairs, cushions and tea set but with unexpected elements such as florals on the frame by Catherine Short florals, a bamboo screen and a hand written sign with a Chinese proverb by Bewilderly. We wanted to inspire our couples to embrace an age-old traditional of exchanging tea with their elders on their wedding day by making it feel pretty and romantic.

The Chinese double happiness symbol seen throughout the shoot represents double the joy and happiness for the newlyweds as they begin their marriage. It can be seen on the embroidery items such as the groom's socks and pocket square, as well as the invitations and menus. It's a positive reminder of the journey our couple are taking together as well as inspiration on different ways to use this symbol for themselves on their wedding day.

The geometric ceremony backdrop from Rock the Day, paper lanterns orbs and arch cake added a dynamic yet cohesive feel with the unique shapes and lines. We feel these bold designs really add the wow factor! The hand painted fan cookies, personalised napkins and lanterns add a sweet nod to Asian elements that we know and love.

Thank you to our wonderful suppliers who worked so hard with their creativity.

We are thrilled to have our shoot featured on Junebug wedding blog and Rock My Wedding!

Italian inspired outdoor Spring wedding at Stansted Park, Hampshire

Step into Spring with this beautiful outdoor wedding editorial shoot at Stansted Park in Hampshire. I was thrilled when Leah Marie Photography invited me to collaborate on this editorial, filled with delicate touches, pastel florals and a gorgeous Italian inspired tablescape all set at the stunning grounds and classical architecture of Stansted Park.

Camilla’s floristry set up an amazing floral display for the ceremony, the perfect romantic backdrop for our couple to exchange vows complete with wooden benches from Academy Furniture Hire.

The tablescape featured gorgeous tableware from Nepture, with pops of green and yellow for a fresh Spring feel.

Our lovely couple Yinsey and Han natural chemistry was a joy to capture and they look elegant in their outfits. Yinsey looked amazing in the stunning veils from Unveiled by Sophie and delicate pearl jewellery from Kiri and Belle.

I hope this outdoor wedding editorial inspires you to embrace nature and say ‘I do’ outdoors! Get in touch if you’re looking for a videographer for your Spring inspired wedding.

Modern city wedding, Ecology Pavilion London

I’ve got a fun and colourful wedding shoot to brighten up your day - a vibrant Palm Springs inspired intimate city wedding held at the Ecology Pavilion in Mile End London. This fun shoot was created by Michelle and Philip from Kernwell Photography and planner Katrien from South Events Specialists, who wanted to explore a fun and modern couple making their own traditions on their wedding day against a fun backdrop and colourful styling. The venue was clean and simple with lots of glass walls for beautiful natural light.

The tablescape was stylish and modern decorated with florals and palm leaves from Catherine Short, menus from Grania at Ink & Paper design and sweet treats from and breezeway block inspired cake from Meera. Our gorgeous real couple Chish and James look super chic - Chish rocked a white Reiss jumpsuit and James in his Keye London 3 piece blue suit, which suited our intimate City wedding vibes.

I hope this vibrant London wedding inspired couples especially those who can't travel right now and want a slice of paradise, through this Palm Spring inspired styling.

This shoot is featured on Love My Dress.

Free spirited camper van elopement editorial, Spirit Lake Surrey

This is a very special shoot as it was organised and created by myself and friend Heather Sham! We both wanted to work together as firstly I love Heather’s work, she is such a talented photographer and all around awesome person. We feel our style of work compliment each other and we wanted our shoot to reflect us - something wild and free, inspired by nature and also to promote diversity in the wedding industry. That is how our free spirited camper van elopement was created!

We asked suppliers to collaborate with us who we personally knew, worked with before and admired their work. As our shoot was centred around a camper van, we knew Nathalie from Buttercup Bus would be perfect and she was more than happy to feature one of her cream vintage VW campers Pushka!

For florals we had the lovely Zuzanna from Bloomantic. We were keen to have lots of colour and Zuzanna created a beautiful bouquet with pops of blue and orange, florals on the camper, dried flowers on the bride’s hat as well as a truly stunning arrangement on the wooden hex arch. Tracey and Andy supplied the arch and rustic props from Wilderness prop hire. The arch was the perfect backdrop against our stunning private venue Spirit Lake in Surrey.

We were also thrilled to have Grania from Ink & Paper design on board, she blew us away with her bold stationery suite for our couple’s elopement announcement. Lara from Love From Lila created a beautiful sustainable and eco friendly cake, which was the perfect mix of rustic and modern with dried flowers and berries.

The vintage lace dresses were supplied by Phiney from Poppy Perspective and it was a dream to have her dresses for our shoot. Ysabella wore two lace dresses, which showed off our boho bride perfectly, with the tassels, fringing and lace details. To finish off the look, Ysabella wore a tan fedora hat from ASOS for a carefree rustic vibe. For our groom, we wanted a young, fun and modern vibe and Alex looked great in a burnt orange suit from Boohoo Man and slim black trousers.

It was lovely to have Rosie on board to do our bride’s hair and makeup. The look she created was stunning, warm coral tones for the makeup and a beautiful chinese lattice braid - perfect for our boho bride!

Our beautiful couple Ysabella and Alexander, who got married last year, brought so much warmth, love, fun and intimacy to our shoot. We wanted our couple to exude a care free and wildly in love vibe and they did and so much more! From dancing in the rain to playing the ukulele, they were a true inspiration.

Heather and I were so happy with the shoot and all the hard work everyone created, it honestly was a dream come true! Thank you so much to all our talented suppliers and for bringing our vision to life.

Our shoot is featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings.

Lovers of Knockwood, bell tent wedding inspiration, Knockwood Bespoke Receptions Kent

There’s something so romantic about bell tents, candle light and exchanging vows over the rolling hills. Our lovely couple Jess and James brought so much warmth and chemistry to this intimate outdoor wedding shoot organised by makeup artist Aston at Knockwood Bespoke Receptions in Kent.

This modern boho shoot features cosy furnishings, dried flowers and pampas grass, a Winter friendly neutral colour palette with rich navy and deep oranges to add a touch of elegance. The bell tent supplied by Life’s a Pitch Kent was the perfect cosy setting for our couple as the sun set.

Thank you to the team for creating such a magical shoot! I hope it inspires couples to embrace intimate ceremonies and go wild with dreamy boho aesthetics.
