Free spirited camper van elopement editorial, Spirit Lake Surrey

This is a very special shoot as it was organised and created by myself and friend Heather Sham! We both wanted to work together as firstly I love Heather’s work, she is such a talented photographer and all around awesome person. We feel our style of work compliment each other and we wanted our shoot to reflect us - something wild and free, inspired by nature and also to promote diversity in the wedding industry. That is how our free spirited camper van elopement was created!

We asked suppliers to collaborate with us who we personally knew, worked with before and admired their work. As our shoot was centred around a camper van, we knew Nathalie from Buttercup Bus would be perfect and she was more than happy to feature one of her cream vintage VW campers Pushka!

For florals we had the lovely Zuzanna from Bloomantic. We were keen to have lots of colour and Zuzanna created a beautiful bouquet with pops of blue and orange, florals on the camper, dried flowers on the bride’s hat as well as a truly stunning arrangement on the wooden hex arch. Tracey and Andy supplied the arch and rustic props from Wilderness prop hire. The arch was the perfect backdrop against our stunning private venue Spirit Lake in Surrey.

We were also thrilled to have Grania from Ink & Paper design on board, she blew us away with her bold stationery suite for our couple’s elopement announcement. Lara from Love From Lila created a beautiful sustainable and eco friendly cake, which was the perfect mix of rustic and modern with dried flowers and berries.

The vintage lace dresses were supplied by Phiney from Poppy Perspective and it was a dream to have her dresses for our shoot. Ysabella wore two lace dresses, which showed off our boho bride perfectly, with the tassels, fringing and lace details. To finish off the look, Ysabella wore a tan fedora hat from ASOS for a carefree rustic vibe. For our groom, we wanted a young, fun and modern vibe and Alex looked great in a burnt orange suit from Boohoo Man and slim black trousers.

It was lovely to have Rosie on board to do our bride’s hair and makeup. The look she created was stunning, warm coral tones for the makeup and a beautiful chinese lattice braid - perfect for our boho bride!

Our beautiful couple Ysabella and Alexander, who got married last year, brought so much warmth, love, fun and intimacy to our shoot. We wanted our couple to exude a care free and wildly in love vibe and they did and so much more! From dancing in the rain to playing the ukulele, they were a true inspiration.

Heather and I were so happy with the shoot and all the hard work everyone created, it honestly was a dream come true! Thank you so much to all our talented suppliers and for bringing our vision to life.

Our shoot is featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings.

Chic and modern bridal editorial, Mortimer House London

Mortimer House in Fitzrovia London is a stunning art deco venue and was the perfect backdrop for this chic and elegant bridal editorial shoot organised by makeup artist Abi Taylor. It has a loft space with large windows and balcony space with lots of natural light.

Abi wanted to showcase 3 bridal looks and our gorgeous models were spoilt for choice with bridal wear from Charlie Brear, Constellation Ame and Lovely Bride London. Each chic and minimal outfit highlighted the girls effortless beauty with the gowns flattering silhouettes. The girls natural makeup and sleek hair styles were styles with modern gold jewellery pieces by Paige.

A stunning green and white floral arrangement by Spring Hill Florals created a beautiful fresh backdrop and Callie Pettigrew styled the tablescape to complete our minimal chic bridal wedding shoot. Rica from Alchelmy of Sugar created an elegant cake and biscuits with gold foiling.

I hope this shoot inspired brides to embrace chic silhouettes and separates for a totally stylish City wedding!

Are you ready for some badass rock chick bridal looks? Becky and Chris, intimate Italian theme marquee wedding, East Sussex

It was such a pleasure being able to film Becky and Chris’ s wedding this year, they had to postpone their wedding from July to September with a much smaller guestlist due to Covid 19 but it still was a truly special celebration. I really admire their determination and optimism in getting married at their church in Burwash, followed by a beautiful marquee reception in the Sussex countryside with their 30 guests.

There was lots of special touches including Becky’s beautiful wedding dress, which herself and mum Jane designed and made herself! The sun was shining and it was a lovely late Summer’s day, the reception was decorated with a rustic Italian theme to mark their love for travelling around Italy and where Chris proposed to Becky in Venice. It was a lovely intimate wedding and a honour to be a part of.

English Coastal Elopement Inspiration , Beachy Head Sussex

Over the summer I filmed a beautiful coastal elopement shoot at Beachy Head in East Sussex England. The white chalk cliffs and views are so picturesque and a stunning backdrop for this dreamy elopement.

Photographer Madara created an elegant and romantic vision embracing nature with delicate textures, muted tones and minimal styling. The combination of the Jesus Peiro gown, wide brim hat and flowing veil created a feminine and stylish look.

The tablescape was styled with a luxurious feel of flowing fabrics, romantic calligraphy and antique glassware. The hints of blush pink, blue and white from the florals tied in with the natural elements of the sea. The stunning bouquet from Coco Rose Flowers brought a fresh and romantic vibe and our real couple Katie and Ben brought this shoot to life with their relaxed, warm and friendly nature.

I hope this English coastal elopement shoot inspire couples to embrace nature and be bold with different elements. This shoot is featured on The White Wren blog.
