Korean wedding, Bodleian Library Oxford

Bodleian Library wedding video.jpg

It was my first time travelling to Oxford and what better occasion then to shoot a wedding. Jennifer and Kevin ceremony was held at the impressive Bodleian Library, with it's stunning architecture and archways, it was a  lovely backdrop for them to exchange their vow. It was also wonderful to hear Jennifer's brother sing in Korean during the ceremony and Jennifer couldn't hold back the tears! The guests then arrived at The Folly, a riverside restaurant for the Korean ceremony. This was my first experience of this ceremony and it was amazing! From the intricate traditional outfits they wore to the conker throwing from the parents onto a silk towel, to see how many children they'll have! I love seeing different cultures and their wedding traditions and all the guests were in good spirits. The restaurant was filled with so many special touches, from the macaron cake, the origami cranes and Korean fortune pouches. It was a delight to film and see everyone enjoying themselves. It was also so nice to work with Irene, who shot our wedding last year.
